September School Holidays- Friday 15 September is the last day of term 3, with school returning Tuesday 3 October (Monday 2 October is the Kings Birthday Public Holiday. Apple is away for a few days next week and the school holiday program is still in planning. There will be bowling, movies, South Bank outings and the usual arts and craft as well as games, singing and dancing.
New Respite House - we are very excited to introduce SUNFLOWER House. This is located in Sunnybank Hills, and is a delightful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a beautiful, securely fenced back yard. We will hold a staff BBQ on Thursday 14 September as a "house warming". Families are welcome to join, or come and inspect anytime from next week.
Precious Angels Office Hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday. If the office is closed, please contact the afterhours number (0421 521 750). The afterhours phone is shared between Amanda during the week and Kayla on weekends.

I am looking forward to our first staff social on Thursday at our new respite home in Sunnybank Hills. We havent had one in a number of months.
We are ready for our first participants, and just in time for the school holidays!
Anyone interested in a weekend gardening bee? We have a large back yard with lots of room to plant a sensory garden, and we could do with a trampoline too. I've posted some photos to facebook so you can see our Sunflower House.
Following the success of the chickens at the Castle, we have asked our landlords if we can have some chickens at the new respite home.
I am looking to hire some more staff. We've had contact from some new families and with our new respite home increasing the number of participants we can provide STA for, its a good time to start recruiting. Finding the right "Angels" for your Angels is always a challenge we enjoy.
AAC (Augmentive and Alternative Communication) Training with Fiona (not just Connors Mum) was a huge success - everyone gained so much from the session, thank you! All our staff are very excited to be included in the next training.

Bit of a short one this week but we have some lovely moments with our participants here, even have more chicken photos coming in!
Lily and Caleb were having really great interactions while Luke and Caleb solidified their friendship at respite. Ethan and Jy helped to make some decorations for The Castle too.
Out with the Angels
This week we visited SWARA and attended a silent disco bowling. Deanna, Tara and Casey felt the heat and rode the boogie! We have Jasmine enjoying a hike and Brayden enamored with the beach.
