Our founders started as teacher aides at Narbethong State Special School. When their contracts ended they formed their own company to continue working with the children they had become fond of and familiar with. The partnership grew into a company and now Precious Angels In-Home Care employ over 30 “Angels”. The members of the team are located mainly in the Bay-side area, but we are increasing our range south and west to assist more families.
Precious Angels In-Home Care Ltd are a registered National Disability Insurance Service (NDIS) Provider.
My background is diverse. I have a double degree in Commerce and Leisure Management, and after years of working in the Public Service, came to this industry later in life. Although I don’t have any special need children in my home life, I recognised my niche when I was working at Narbethong. I found such a connection with these children and couldn’t imagine any other career. Currently I’m studying for my Certificate IV in Individual Support (Disability). I’ve found my passion and follow it willingly.

As a parent of a disabled child, I’ve been able to offer insight to the Precious Angels team from the perspective of families that for years have endured a lack of quality respite. I understand the feeling of being unheard and invisible at times. I have shared many of the struggles that today’s families are still experiencing within the current framework of disability services. My focus is on long-term goals of support for families as I know first-hand that stability, reliability and quality are key to future happiness of the complete family unit.
I'm an experienced and qualified WHS and Quality Management professional with 20 years experience in the field of Work Health and Safety. As a health safety and quality professional I see my key responsibility is to help businesses understand their obligations and improve their culture toward achieving a sustainably Healthy and Safe workplace. I like to help my clients see how they can improve their business and ensure that Customers and employees receive equal focus.
I am personable and enjoy my work, and in this way I try to simplify WHS and Quality concepts for employers and workers. I aim to help people understand that minimal compliance is not the route for improved health and safety performance. Genuine care and understanding for the people who work for you coupled with sound risk management principles are the cornerstones for real improvement in WHS.
I am experienced in developing and implementing Quality and Work Health and Safety solutions in challenging work environments, and I continue to adapt and develop with strong academic qualifications and ongoing professional development to support me.
