SIL/SDA - Thank you to the families who responded to my email. I would love to hear your thoughts on "perfect" accommodation for your young person, so please continue to send me suggestions.

Staff Social - After Easter

Post School Leavers - I have engaged one of our Support Workers and we will begin reaching out to schools to advertise The Castle for post school leavers. Might mean we need a second Castle.....

Precious Angels Charity Dance

Precious Angels are working more on our "Charity" this year, and we are organising a family dance in May. Progress has been made, venues are being sourced, and donations are being sought for raffle prizes. Very exciting!

From the desk of Amanda

It has been interesting hearing from our Angel Support Workers why they believe Precious Angels are so special. My little thought share recently garnered many responses, thank you.

One of my favourite responses was "being a Precious Angel Support Worker isn't just a job, but a commitment to bring your everything for the Participant you are with at that time. Connecting on many levels to bring experiences and joy to their lives is its own reward".

To quote:

"All Angels are part of a team. Even though we find ourselves on our own with a participant we are still a team. At any time, we can contact the office or other Angels to ask for guidance or support. Everyone is only too happy to assist, encourage and support you. Never feel you are alone. You have a shoulder and support only a phone call away.

Embrace being an Angel and you will be rewarded in ways you never thought possible”.

I am always very proud of the organisation we are growing to be, and I know our "new" support workers are always encouraged by the support they are given.

We have taken on some more new families, and as always are looking for more quality people to be trained as Support Workers.

I know it’s been a while, but it is definitely time for a staff social, so we will arrange one for after Easter when school returns.

The next 2 weeks of school holidays brings lots of fun and laughter (and not a little chaos!) so I know we are all excited.

Have a safe and happy Easter everyone.

Out with the Angels

Lots of pictures from Indigiscape Redlands, we had a great little excursion! Riding trains, having fun and engaging in the community, we love helping our participants succeed and thrive in their NDIS goals.

Don't forget to check facebook for extra photos too.
