Love our service? - If so, we'd appreciate leaving us a review on Google. Also, we will be sending a survey out soon to all our families asking for feedback on Management, Administration and Support Workers in Brisbane and Mackay.

We are recruiting in Brisbane - the demand for support for families in our region is growing, and we want to help these families with the best carers we can find. Our recruitment and training process ensures we select and retain the best candiates available, and this month Brisbane and Mackay have welcomed some new Angel Carers. Welcome to Jackson, Polina, Will (Sean) and Mona. Dillon is busy going through all the applications and we look forward to welcoming some new Angels in the next few weeks.
Term 4 begins on Tuesday 3rd October, and we will resume your usual school term care schedule. Please do let us know if there are any changes to your schedule so we can update.
I know a number of families are currently using Brevity - our rostering/data application. Rob is working on a quick reference/FAQ guide and will be touching base with you soon.
When school returns, our focus at The Castle and Respite will be around fire safety and evacuation procedures. Working with such a diverse group, we need to ensure their safety needs are met. A friendly Fire Saftey person will be assisting us with this to ensure we comply with regulations.
It has been a crazy, noisy, hilarious and fun filled week at The Castle this week - as you will see in our photos. Lots of participants interacting and having a great time. Apple does such an amazing job, and I know we all love and appreciate her and her work. Happy birthday Apple!
The next week will surely be full of more fun and laughter at The Castle.
Enjoyed some time at SWARA this week and made a collaborative artwork with the participants. We've got Cezanne working on his independent eating (he's making so much progress!) and big smiles from Finn, Deanna and Ethan :)
Out with the Angels
The weather has been lovely so we've snapped up the opportunity and have been engaging our participants in lots of outside play. Vitamin D and getting our bodies moving is so important and it's great to see how these lovely individuals react and engage with the world!
Photo of the Week
Welcome to the reading corner with Helayna. She has such fantastic interactions with our participants and she loves reading stories and engaging them :)
Angel of the Fortnight
Our Angel Award goes to Lynne!
She has just come on board and fits right in. Always cheerful and takes pride in her work. We're lucky to have her!
Thank you for your continued effort.
